Sidekick LX vs. Sidekick Slide

Hello everyone,

this is like a little review of both sidekick's released around at the same time i hav done another one on a different blog site but i wanted to post one on this site aswell

first of all
CALLING QUALITY:LX
The call quality of the lx is not great and sometimes a bit loud and hurts my ear and i cant exactly use the speaker phone in public
CALLING QUALITY:SLIDE
The call quality of the slide is way more better than the lx not only has it got a seperate speaker and not on the d-pad which i think looks better but the sidekick slide also has crystal talk which is motorola's anser to clear hearing and talking even in a noisy background

TEXTING/E-MAILING/I.M'S:LX & SLIDE
At first i found that the lx was a bit hardder to get used to with they keyboard it took me 2 weeks to get used to it and now i love it but for a teenager i would advise the slide but i would also advise the lx i dont know what i would do if i could only have one of them the texting has now got mms on the slide and the lx thi si a good feature but there is one draw back on the 2 sidekicks for text messaging you can only have 100 texts stored in the sidekick and if you have 50 in your sent folder and 50 in your inbox then its time to delete thats why i never store any texts in my sent folder
emailing is bad on both because you can onlu have 6mb of email stored on your sidekick i dont like this at all but with the new add 5 email accounts thats great but why only 6mb of email on the sidekicks they should have unlimited storage
i.m's are they sam on both side kicks i love i.m i would send i.m's quicker than i would texts but i use i.m and email more than texts because texts cost more

WEB BROWSER:LX
The web browser on the lx is way better because they screen is bigger

WEB BROWSER:SLIDE
The we browser on the slide is not as good as the lx because the screen is a little bit too small

ADDRESS BOOK:LX & SLIDE
The address book for both of these phones are the same

ORGANISER:LX
The organizer on the lx is kind of better because you can see a little bit more of the thing and it doesnt look as cramped as it does on the slide but the slide is easier to use with one hand typing

ORGANISER:SLIDE
The organiser on the slide is alright but it makes the notes look a little bit squashed

CAMERA : LX AND SLIDE
The camera on the lx and slide ar the sam but i think the slide's camera is way better than the lx's camera

MEDIA:LX
The lx can now take video's and play them and you can also play imported video's on the lx but its not very good quality and the music doesnt sound great either there is only 1 speaker for calls and music thats really bad

MEDIA:SLIDE
Although there is no video recording or playback capabilties it doesnt matter this music player beats the lx hands down because of the large speaker at the end there was a speaker on the back of the sidekick 2 and now on the slide

GAMES:LX & SLIDE
The games on the lx and slide are bob's journey to the centre of the earth i dont play them i only played them once and i must say that the trackball was easier to use on the slide than on the lx the lx's trackball was to hard to navigate but the slides on works perfectly
